White Keys
This is an adaptation of the library keyboard input module which maps various scales to the white keys on the keyboard. It uses a modified Quick Quantizer and provides the same scales. When set to chromatic, it acts the same as the standard module, but when set to one of the other scales, it maps the scale notes to the C major scale on the keyboard. The pentatonic scales are mapped to the C, D, E, F, and G keys. The unused keys are masked so that they may be used for other purposes. In addition to the standard module controls there is a root knob which sets the root note of the output, and a scale knob which selects the type of scale:
- C - chromatic
- M - major
- m - natural minor
- h - harmonic minor
- p - pentatonic minor
- P - pentatonic major
There is also a fine tuning knob which will raise the output note by 1 semitone.
