I’m a retired systems analyst and software engineer in my mid-sixties. I spent my professional career designing custom systems to integrate high speed laser printers (100-2000 pages per minute) into customers’ systems. I’ve been an amateur musician since I was a kid, and had a brief semi-pro career when I was in my 20’s. My primary instrument was guitar, but I also dabbles in keyboards, wind and percussion. I’ve always been interested in synthesis, but could never afford to purchase hardware. I came across Audulus shortly after version 3 was released and have really enjoyed both the app and the user community that goes with it. I recently purchased my first “real” synth, a Novation UltraNova. I considered Eurorack, but I also needed a good keyboard controller and the UN gave me both.
