Stevie’s Castle
This module is modeled on the Akemie’s Castle Eurorack module from Busy Circuits. It is a dual channel, four operator FM oscillator. The original Akemie’s Castle module uses Yamaha OPL3 integrated circuits which were used in a variety of early FM synths and sound cards. It is capable of creating a wide variety of timbres and can operate as either two separate two-operator voices or as a combined duophonic four-operator voice. There are six FM algorithms available with variable feedback applied separately to the initial operator(s) in each algorithm for both A and B Channels. Each operator has a selection of eight different waveforms modeled on the ones from Akemie’s Castle, a multiplier which ranges from 0.5 to 7.5 times the base frequency and a level control. All operator parameters can be externally modulated using the associated attenuverter inputs. Since many of the waveforms are unipolar, an optional DC blocker is included for each output channel. Note that, as a result of the wide variety of algorithms and waveforms available output levels can vary significantly so take care.
The module is documented in the Description field
