Well, I don’t really have the budget for it in the foreseeable future, but I think it’s always a good idea to have the current version of your main DAW. I’m saving my pennies for Max 8 first though, since it seems like node.js was what made that Perfect Circuit youtube live chat control the 0-Coast/Magneto.

The suite version of Live 10 has Max for Live V8 bundled, but the version of Max is an earlier one that the current release of the standalone version. The newer version of Max for Live is in an open beta at the moment. I would love to have the full version of Max as well, but the cross-grade is $299. I would need a pretty compelling reason.
