Radial Quad Pan
This a radial version of an equal power quad pan. It will pan a mono input between four outputs. There is a radius control that moves from the center to the edge, and an angle control that goes from 0 to 360 degrees with 0 front center.

Wow! Thanks for working that up. I need to find some time so I can study this and learn how you did the magic.

I used a left/right and front/rear pan and converted the angle and radius into the (I hope!) correct L/R and F/R numbers. If you run the radius all the way up it will pan around the edge and with the radius at center the 4 outputs are balanced.

This reminds me years ago, was at the moon club, Bristol, now Lakota, I think, hihat patterns spinning around to the beat, absolutely mental!
