  • starting another demo that is more cpu heavy (can anyone with any iPhones tell me what cpu these patches are pulling?)
  • added sidechain compression to kick and bass
    • (G R A V I T Y Compressor MKll by Steve Estrada)
  • adjusted sub sequencer start point
  • working further on the sub sequencer
  • module kill switch lines now applied to gate
  • getting to know the compressor a bit more
    • added ducking output
  • dialing in the module dials
  • found and corrected mathematical spelling error in sub sequencer
  • got the bass pitch drop to release
  • vibrato added to bass
  • organized the bass module and got some of its adhr knobs working
    • gave bass its own peak meter
    • swapped in a K35LPF
  • smeared the standalone peak meter
  • sub sequencer has buttons now
  • high pass filter added to bass
    • added off notch to knob
    • added resonance knob
  • automation lfo
    • kill switch line
  • two detuned oscillators added to bass
  • synced the oscillators
  • 1/4’rd the count of the sub sequencer
  • had the peak meter hooked up wrong
  • uploaded right file this time
  • organized the insides of the bass
  • vibrato adsr wasn’t working that great with a release (some sort of stacking)
    • removed the adsr and re-thinking the design
    • vibrato hold (sustain) only for now
  • starting to standardize knobs to max 1
  • gave the external lfo an independent “amp 2” output
  • swapped in Variable Curve ADSR Envelope Generator by stschoen to pitch drop for curve control
    • defeat button added in
    • tuned gate down small for faster triggers
  • glide added to bass (not used in demo yet)
  • tune knobs connected up right

To your iPhone %cpu question: I’m seeing just over 20-40% on iPhone 6s running IOS 12.

D1 has a lower 15-30% signature.

Bugs I know of:

  • some things don’t retrigger if the gate is above 0.96

Hold Seq v014r (BETA)

  • added start/wind down/stop button
    • have to push figure 8 button to start patch
    • volume is in the right module. must highlight and open
  • made 4x8 single module sequencer unit
    • still modular, just have to copy and paste units inside module
    • trying to cut back on what’s drawn on screen (cables, splitting things between screens…)
  • instruments now in one module
  • hz out linked to tempo
  • second lfo added
  • lfo’s now have 6 outputs
  • removed hp on bass for now (was acting up on me once)
  • note: was a mission building the thing. some buttons may be swapped or something. will fully test out soon.

    • resetting release times to new bpm (would like to make this automatic in the future)

    • added the forbidden notes

Arg… Clocks not syncing with plugins… Imagined they were for a sec there… May have to re-do the sequencer to work with negative starting clocks… Nuts.

I’ve been feeling the age of my 2010 Mac as well. The wake up call for me is that I can’t update to Mojave.

It starts breaking up on me when dialogue/input boxes appear on my iPad Pro as well. Give me a sec I’ll make a trimmed down version.

Well, I’m going to slowly rebulid this. I made a mistake with the clock from the get-go. Version 016 won’t be compatible with any previous versions, but it should be in line with all other Audulus clocks and modules. At least the old versions will give examples of can be done. Pretty stoked to have the Underachiever module fully working together with it (Massive Performer In Audulus). Next, I’d like to make (you can help if you want) a drum and bass machine out it all. The ride cymbal is coming along (It's A Trap! Sizzle (Ride) Cymbal Mod). I should have a solid kick and snare done soon. I kind of like the sound of noise hi-hats, but later I’ll get on more metalish and splashy ones.
