While the new forum definitely has more options and provides us with the ability to create more detailed and standardized documentation, I’m concerned that users who are more interested in posting patches than putting the time in to document their patches may not have their work fully incorporated into a fully documented version.
Perhaps at some point there’d be a volunteer system where volunteers could receive requests from patch creators who have documented their patches in a non-standardized way and the volunteer would do the work needed to document them in a standardized way?
I would rather have the more talented/prolific patchers being able to focus their efforts on patching rather than doing extensive standardized documentation which volunteers could do for them.
