They have disappeared of their own accord. 
That’s a glitch of iOS rendering, iinm. It’s been an intermittent issue since I joined this forum 3 or 4 years ago. It’s been a while since I messed with a scope, in a patch or module, but I know there is a trick to making them go away. If I remember, I will come back and comment, here. Until then, happy patching, and I hope you are enjoying the forum’s offerings. 
P.S. if you haven’t already, I would recommend becoming a member of the Discord server, as I believe that is where most of the active users, happen to be, now.
