Can I expect Audulus to work normally if I update my mac to Big Sur? A few years ago I broke my Audulus install when I tried beta testing macOS. I understand that’s because Taylor doesn’t develop for betas, but I just want to make sure there are no alarms and no surprises. Definitely don’t want to have to do without my favorite toy until there’s a more stable release or have to revert to Catalina.
I just received a new MBP13 M1 and Audulus seems to be running fine through Rosetta 2 on Big Sur, but I haven’t put it through its paces fully. Even under emulation it uses 40-50% less CPU than in my top of the line MBP16 i9 (the Acid example uses 7.5-8.5% on the M1 and 13-14% on the i9). ¯_(ツ)_/¯ Will be interesting to see that number with a native arm build is available.
