I just hooked the wrong cable to the high hat, and was delighted to find the result! Some of you may already be aware of this, but connecting a different speed of clock pulse to the envelope and then the drum, ends up offsetting the emphasis on the beats. All this time, I have been playing with the drums, thinking “there has to be a way to add a little bit of movement that I am just overlooking” and today I just fell face first on the answer
