just bought Audulus and i get a crackling sound on all demo patches. The crackles stop if i drop down the control center. Then the sound is fine…

I just heard on the Audiobus forum that lots of music apps are having this issue with the new iPad. It’s evidently something to do with the priority it puts on audio processing. The reason it stops when you pull the control center down is it frees up some graphical processing CPU and overall CPU use goes down below the threshold where it would cause crackling.
A lot of the demos are CPU hungry so if you just start building some stuff from individual modules, you should be fine. I’ll check in with Taylor about this I think he just bought a Pro 11 and can test it out.
Sorry you’re having this issue and I know this sucks, but a fix will come at some point whether from us or from Apple! Let me know if you need any help getting started otherwise.

Is this affecting the Pro version only? I’ll have my basic 2018 model either tomorrow or on weekends.
