Been a while… A little lost, now 😕

Hey everyone! I got a neat idea the other day that I am working on building for the community, but in the process, I realized that I’ve kinda lost touch with a few things, in the library.

I have successfully solved most of the problems I have come across, however, I can’t seem to make sense of what I am doing wrong, as my main module is making no sound, presently. I have narrowed down what seems to be the cause at the fact that I am getting no noise impulse from my little noise module here, and I could probably find something to take its place, but then, I would be missing out on knowing what is causing the blockage here, and what, if anything, should be used instead.

Can someone please check my assumptions with the attached module, and tell me what I am doing wrong? Thanks, and I hope you are all doing well! :smiley:

Hello!

So I put the output of your module into a speaker, then I touched the pad and there was sound. I put your module’s output back into the mixer input you had and put the mixer output into the speaker and it didn’t sound anymore. Next I realized your module was actually routed to the volume control for channel 1, not the audio input for channel 1. I changed that and the sound from your module came out of the output of the mixer when I pressed the trigger.

I had some similar confusions while learning version 4, but am really pleased with the thorough backward compatability and new features.

I’m trying to lurk less. This community is a gift.
