Another Delay-based Looper

I made a new version using Audulus 4’s canvas node for displays and replaced the legacy delay node with a delay line node.

So nice to see an update to this. Question about the Audulus delay line – and it’s fair to expect that I explore answers myself, but you never know, maybe you have some insight – with feedback set to 100% for “infinite”, did you find that the linear interpolated delay line degrades the contents of the buffer over time?

At 100% feedback the output is presented at the input untouched, so in principle there’s no degradation. If we’re seeing some then I’ve screwed something up again!

Yeah, it’s fine.

Pretty sure that my misinformation-flawed brain planted the seed of doubt when I was modulating delay time, which, if I understand correctly, forces into action the linear interpolation that degrades the signal. I have a clean test that has been looping a 1/16 sec delay for about 20 minutes now, sounds the same to me as when it started.

Glad that’s cleared up. Thanks for the reply!
