this makes me want to try again to make the linn-drum kick in audulus …
Something about @robertsyrett’s sound has always felt like a continuation of something. I remember skateboarding in the fall with music in my headphones that had more to do with my surroundings than it had to do with concepts.
I spent some time last night looking back through some of the Anticon records that felt right to me back then, much of it a bit hard to find. It was this recent offering from Robert that sent me on that path:
This is my stuff. At least, it reminds me of the music I was proud to like. It reminded me of Dosh, circa October 2004.
Realistically hopefull? Autumn.
