Decimal Pattern Sequencer
  • As an outgrowth of the uGateLoop patternbank module I saw the opportunity to slip in a shift regiter and DAC combo to make a microscopic sequencer that can generate a rhythmical pattern and a modulation sequence that can be quantized into a melody.


    Note that the pattern meter is a separate module, so you can delete them from larger patches and save on CPU. There is still plenty of blinking lights. You can use the pattern generation tool or a random code generator, both of which are stored inside the sequencer. It's a great module for getting the feel of a turing machine but with a little more control of the output, plus you can explore the mysterious connection between rhythm and melody!
